The Western Outer Ring Main project is a high pressure, buried gas transmission pipeline, approximately 51 kilometres long, which will provide a new connection between existing pipelines at Plumpton in Melbourne’s west and Wollert in the north. The project also includes an upgrade to the existing compressor station at Wollert. HCS Was engaged to provide Underground Service Locating Services to this Vital Gas Infrastructure Upgrade Project.
HCS was engaged by WBHO to carry out the initial services investigation for design purposes, as well as providing Digital Engineering and Engineering Services to the project.
The Western Roads Upgrade will improve 8 main roads across the West. It will also repair and resurface 37 roads and strengthen seven structures, mostly bridges.

HCS was engaged by John Holland to carry out concrete scanning services for the upgrading of the international terminal entry.
The work comprised investigation and recording of the position of steel reinforcement and electrical services contained within the existing concrete floor. As a result of our work, the installation of gates that were required to be drilled into the floor was carried out safely and without incident.
