The Western Roads Upgrade Construction Phase delivers major road widening and intersection upgrades across Melbourne's growing western suburbs. The program improves a network of roads to support population growth, easing congestion and improving safety for local communities. Works include additional traffic lanes, new and upgraded intersections, and new pedestrian and cyclist infrastructure. Construction is being staged across numerous sites to manage impacts on traffic and residents across the western growth corridor.
