The Fitzsimons Lane Upgrade widens Fitzsimons Lane between Porter Street and Reynolds Road to reduce congestion in Melbourne's north-east. The project delivers a new bridge over the Yarra River, additional traffic lanes, and a new signalised intersection at Porter Street. New shared user paths and landscaping are also being delivered to improve safety and amenity for the local community. The upgrade is being constructed alongside the Yarra River, requiring careful management of environmentally sensitive areas and existing services.
