The Western Roads Upgrade Maintenance Phase continues the broader Western Roads Upgrade program, keeping newly upgraded roads across Melbourne's west in good condition. The maintenance phase covers ongoing pavement, drainage and asset maintenance across the roads delivered under the earlier construction phase. Works are carried out progressively across multiple sites while keeping roads open to traffic wherever possible. The program supports the long-term reliability of key freight and commuter routes across Melbourne's western suburbs.
