HCS Safety Policy
Heavy Construction Solutions’ Safety Management System, developed with the consultation and participation of our workers, is focussed on providing safe and healthy working conditions for the prevention of work-related injury and ill health. This supporting policy sets the framework and guides our team to consistently deliver our products and services to our customers’ requirements.
Heavy Construction Solutions is an infrastructure consultancy specialising in:
- Underground Service Locating;
- Concrete Scanning;
- Digital Engineering; and
- Engineering Survey.
This policy provides high-level strategic direction of our corporate expectations, and sets the foundation for annually identified, monitored, managed and assessed ISO certification objectives.
We understand the importance of ensuring our internally developed and maintained business processes align with the expectations of ISO 45001:2018 and industry best practice. It is a corporate directive that these processes are consistently followed by all team members, contracted staff and contractors, as documented within our management system, to ensure ongoing compliance and optimal effectiveness.
Our team is committed to developing, monitoring and maintaining a risk-based, focussed management system to eliminate hazards and reduce OHS risks, in compliance with ISO 45001:2018, and which identifies and delivers on customer requirements and our statutory, regulatory and contractual obligations. We create, manage and maintain all documented information which underpins our Safety Management System.
Our management team identifies, monitors and manages internal and external interested parties, relevant people, infrastructure, plant, equipment and ICT resources, to ensure the correct and most optimal resources are allocated to each project, service and administrative activity.
Ongoing awareness and training for our team, contracted staff and contractors — supported by clear monitoring, regular recording and reporting, and the management of performance against established objectives alongside internal and external audits and management reviews — enables our leadership team to continually review and improve the effectiveness of our Safety Management System.
This policy statement is reviewed at least annually for its accuracy and relevance.
