The Craigieburn Road Upgrade widens Craigieburn Road between Aitken Boulevard and Craigieburn Road East to reduce congestion and improve safety for the growing local community. The project delivers a new grade-separated interchange along with additional traffic lanes, new pedestrian and cyclist paths, and upgraded intersections. Works also include drainage upgrades, noise walls, and landscaping to improve the amenity of the corridor for surrounding residents. The upgrade is being delivered in a busy, built-up growth corridor with a range of existing underground services that must be protected throughout construction.
