The Mickleham Road upgrade widens Mickleham Road between Somerton Road and Mount Ridley Road to keep pace with rapid growth in Melbourne's north. The project delivers additional traffic lanes in both directions along with a new signalised intersection to improve traffic flow and safety. New shared user paths, drainage works and landscaping are also being delivered as part of the upgrade. Works are being carried out along an established arterial corridor containing a range of existing underground utilities.
